History
Humanities replaces Social Studies beginning in Grade 7. In History, students study:
- Canada from approximately 1713–1850
- Indigenous peoples and colonial relationships
- Confederation foundations
- Political, economic, and social developments
Students begin using historical inquiry skills and evaluating historical evidence.
Geography
Humanities replaces Social Studies beginning in Grade 7. In Geography, students study:
- Physical patterns in Canada's environment

Health and Physical Education

- Healthy relationships
- Consent
- Mental health
- Bullying prevention
- Substance use

The Arts

Core French
