From entrance to graduation and beyond, we provide an extensive range of academic supports to help every student thrive.
Academic Supports
At Maple Stars, we adhere to our Vision and Mission of nurturing our students into stars of tomorrow. Towards this continuous quest, our school collaborates closely with our global partner institutions to provide an extensive range of academic support to our students from entrance to Grade 1 to Grade 12 to post-graduate. Supports for students entering high school (Grade 9 to Grade 12) will start in Fall 2027.
Some of the academic supports that we provide for our Tier 1 and/or Tier 2 students are listed below:
Financial support for all qualified students (bursaries, scholarships, and family discounts).
Entrance assessment to evaluate learning level of all new students.
Work with each student and parents on a personalised weekly timetable per students lifestyle and preferences.
English language training and monitoring (e.g. ESL – English as Second Language or ELD – English Literacy Development)
Full access to course materials (textbooks, workbooks, virtual laboratories, multimedia resources)
Virtual or on-site face-to-face teaching for all courses in synchronously/asynchronously.
Provision of co-curricular enrichment and sports programs with logistics.
Assessing credit transfer (high school)
Provision of proctored assessments if needed (high school) via our institutional partners.
Personalised guidance on academic pathways (Sciences, Business, Arts, etc)
Specific career counseling (high school) on applications to local or global universities/colleges
Reference to proven immigration agents in Canada/USA for study visas/permits.
Assistance on housing accommodation and provision of qualified homestay guardians in Canada/USA for higher education pursuit.
